“People will forget what you said and what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”

What we do & how we do it

Talent is a finite resource and the attraction of talent costs organizations hundreds of thousands every year. Having talent come into your organization only to be met by uninspiring leaders, leaves the employee disengaged and unproductive.

LeedHR believes that the single most impactful way of increasing employee engagement within your organization is by helping your leaders develop the fundamentals of emotional intelligence skills.

Founded in Toronto by two business leaders and longtime colleagues, LeedHR is a leadership development firm (assessment, training and coaching) focused around emotional intelligence. Our founders are linked by their belief that emotional intelligence skills are, more than ever, essential to empowering leaders to successfully lead teams and organizations in today’s business environment.

Their belief is supported by their own personal journey of leading and being led by leaders with high and low emotional intelligence.  Moreover, the World Economic Forum has identified, in its 2018 Future of Job report, emotional intelligence as being one of the top skills required by 2022.

Our mission is to help leaders lead with better human skills. Consequently allowing their organizations to benefit from a better leadership culture that leads to increased employee engagement and productivity. Our services are designed to help leaders of all levels learn about emotional intelligence and provide practical tools allowing its applications in day to day leadership situations.

What to expect when working together

Our approach starts from the inside out and can be summarized around 3 simple concepts: Learn, Live and Lead.

LEARN: Through the use of the EQ-i 2.0® assessment by Multi-Health System, LeedHR allows its participants to gain insight on how they are currently using emotional intelligence.

LIVE: Practice makes perfect : regular exercise of a skill is the way to become proficient in it, and is especially easy when someone is continuously encouraged to persist. This is why our in-class training delivers practical knowledge and tools that are role played, in small groups, while being overseen by our facilitators. This approach allows our participants to put behaviour changes into action, in a safe environment.  Moreover, LeedHR leaves all participants with a post facilitation development plan, allowing them to continue exercising the fundamentals of emotional intelligence and measure their improvements over time.

LEAD: With all the tools and knowledge in hand, participants can now lead in an emotionally intelligent way, helping increase their leadership efficiency and team engagement.
